"SHE TURNED ME INTO A NEWT"When I worked as a teacher I applied the five basic rules of teaching which I had learned as a platoon leader in the German army. The third one was: start as simple as possible and then explain advanced ideas, so here goes:
Suppose in medieval times you had two communities, a few miles apart. One had 3110 residents, the other one 4460. Now comes the plague and initially both commuities suffer about the same number of deaths. Half a year into the plague though of the 4460 residents (minus the casualties) only one dies but in the other community out of 3110 there are 22 victims. Back in Medieval days the answer in the 3110 citizens community would have been: let's burn some witches. Amazing as it sounds in 2020 for some folks in the US the answer is still the same: let's put Nancy Pelosi, Alexandria Occasio-Cortez and Hillary Clinton at the stake, they must be responsible for this, because it can't be our leader, he's such a genius. From this side of the big ditch that answer looks pretty queer, as in 1992 queer when I taught classes in robot programming in the UK.
You'd be 1st too if you counted Accidents, Comorbidities, Heart Attacks, Shootings, Stabbings in your Rona tally... How's this years 'flu' season?Sometimes a picture says more than a thousand words. Isn't it amazing, how the US death curve runs perfectly parallel to the Brazilian one? (Keep in mind that this is, what the Donald called a "Rat Hole Country" ) only that the US curve is way above the Brazilian one. The Donald is indeed one great leader...;-)
Currently it looks as if America will be the first country to surpass 160.000 deaths. Quite an achievement!
So those Democrat Governors go scot free? Newsom Wolf Whitmer Cuomo Murphy who put active Rona cases into nursing homes? After more than 1000 deaths have been reported on three consecutive days the threshold of 160000 deaths has been surpassed much earlier than one might have thought. Much worse still the pandemic in the US is out of hand to the point that some models now predict 300000 deaths by the end of this year.
One interesting piece of information on this site is #6:
6. Things might be better than projected if mask use takes off
One assumption the projection does not include is the prospect of rising use of masks. And this is where the picture gets more hopeful. Murray estimates that currently about 50 percent of people in the U.S. are wearing masks when they are out and about. The team then ran a simulation to see what would happen if starting today, that share was increased to 95 percent of Americans wearing masks. They found that this would cut the number of deaths by Dec. 1 almost in half — saving 66,000 lives.
As I have pointed out earlier Trump's incompetence has already killed more US citizens than were lost in the entire Vietnam war. That number will rise, since Trump's fueling resistance against wearing masks will continue to kill people even after the Donald now reluctantly argues in favour of wearing one, there are simply to many log heads amongst his followers who will still refuse to protect their fellow citizens, because the Donald has indoctrinated them for almost half a year that wearing a mask is rediculous, unmannly or what ever. We have to wait and see whether 95% of Americans will show some common sense and wear a mask. I do hope so.
And the poster child for the Confederate party in 2020 is . . . .[Drum roll please]The article below offers some interesting insight as to how the US got to where it is now.
In the 1950s, when pollsters asked Americans whether they would prefer that their child “marry a Democrat or a Republican, all other things being equal,” the vast majority—72 percent—either didn’t answer or said they didn’t care. By contrast, in 2016, a majority of respondents—55 percent—expressed a partisan preference for their future son-in-law or daughter-in-law. For many Americans, partisanship has become a central part of their identity.
Among wealthy democracies in the world today, the United States is the most economically unequal. After a period during the mid-twentieth century when low- and middle-income Americans experienced quickly rising incomes, since the late 1970s, they have seen slow or stagnant wage growth and shrinking opportunities. The affluent, meanwhile, have continued to experience soaring incomes and wealth, particularly among the richest one percent of the population. The compensation of chief executives skyrocketed from 30 times the annual pay of the average worker in 1978 to 312 times as much by 2017.
When government responds primarily to the rich, it transforms itself into an oligarchy, which better protects the interests of the wealthy few. Keeping watch over democracy is not their concern..[....]..
Economic inequality has skyrocketed, and wealthy individuals and business leaders are highly motivated and organized to protect their interests and expand their riches, even if they must tolerate or embrace racist, nativistic politics to achieve their goals

Ole Sniffin Gropin pedo Joe - Under investigation by both the Ukraine and United States Governments & their law enforcement agencies.
Pelosi, Kerry, Romney, Biden families all connected to a Ukraine gas company & who's office was raided by the FBI last week.
The United States is a Constitutional Republic.
Racism? You have to manufacture a racist crisis [Check out ole George Floyd on Judge Judy???]really?
Snopes? Yea, You sure can pick em... Reuters? National Review? All recycling the same talking points [Right on Script] (miss the ???)Seriously Hillberg dude. You must think people are blind or you are blind. Take your pick
You are your conspiracy theories. LMAO
Facebook users are sharing a miscaptioned video claiming that the late George Floyd, whose death in May ignited global protests against white supremacy and police brutality, appeared as a defendant in an episode of the television show Judge Judy at 16 years old. This claim is false. The person...www.reuters.com
Hey forget snopes, reuters etc. Though they are fairly respected organizations in reference with fact checking crap like this.Snopes? Yea, You sure can pick em... Reuters? National Review? All recycling the same talking points [Right on Script] (miss the ???)
It's not about the virus,,,,,,
It's about an election they lost and another election they'll lose.
1. The Countries that used HCQ cocktail (That your Governors, Health & news Departments said it was either ineffective or deadly) only to find out in 2015 a WHO study found it greatly reduced virus impact - Sars & Cov... Why?Hey forget snopes, reuters etc. Though they are fairly respected organizations in reference with fact checking crap like this.
How about your own darn eyes. Are you blind? Did you see who is in the video? That dude is like 15 years younger and looks nothing like George Floyd who was killed by the cop in Minnesota. Are you not able to distinguish between two different black people. Do they all look the same to you?
Anyway, even if your blind self can't tell the difference, whatever George Floyd did in the past a decade or two ago has to do with justification of him getting killed like a wild boar by an over-zealous police officer while for 9 minutes he pleads to breathe. In that instance and moments, that was pure and simple murder. We all saw the video from 4 sources and angles. Of course there are people and you probably will join them and say that video was a setup and George Floyd was an actor just to cause civil unrest and he never died.
I don't give two cents about Biden and did not say anything about that. You keep bringing that up.
And your tired and lousy its not about the virus, its about defeating Mr. Trump and this virus is a hoax played by 130 countries killing close to a million people around the world and shutting down all their economies ... Mr. Trump ain't so big in the world for them to care. Your myopic view shows your small mindedness, your paranoia, anxiety and how much Kool-Aid you have drunk from the firehose of Alex Jones. Like I said you are a lost cause and beyond correcting your ridiculous video you posted and tried to pass on as fact I have no interest in your politics. I simply want reality you try to change with fake news to not pass without question.
You want Trump to be re-elected, for sure, work and volunteer for his campaign. Make calls, make the case. That's politics and free speech. But this conspiracy theory make belief reality BS is just plain stupid. If anything it will just turn off many. People aren't that gullible to fall for this stuff all the time.
and you forget the inflated numbers, nursing home deaths caused by Governors who ordered Rona patients in with the elderlyQuote: People aren't that gullible to fall for this stuff all the time /Quote
The COVID catastrophe seems to have opened the eyes of many Americans about the Donald. If this is the case, at least all those who died due to his increadible incompetence finally helped a good cause, as sad as their passing is to their relatives.
