Never grease a ring gear or Bendix. You don't do it on your car, and they last forever. From the manufacturer. Use LPS Magnum on the Bendix internal "lift" threads only. also from the Bendix manufacturer. Flex shaft internal shaft "Ok" Dick Wunderlich recommended "chain lube". 60 years later, a better lube may have come along.
