I was filling our my datebook and bemoaning likely missing Barnstormers.

I went to look up the dates for The Popular Rotorcraft Association convention at the Mentone, Indiana airport and found the PRA events calendar empty on the PRA website.

I have always found my visit to the convention time well spent.

I miss the scheduled seminars of the past and very much enjoyed the seminars I attended in 2022.

The impromptu CFI round table was particular interesting to me.

What are the dates for the PRA convention at Mentone, Indiana for 2023?

Thank you!

Apologize for calendar. I'll update this afternoon. Was flying today and headed to San Antonio now.

Thank you Bobby!

You do so much for the PRA, I don't like to add to your tasks when you should be flying.

It is raining here so it was time to do paperwork like my date book.

I've had it on my to do list but can't find my round tuit!

I Iike the Tuit, need one. I added the PRA Mentone event to the website calendar but not happy with the manner the plugin displays events so working on that!

My Dad and I made them for Christmas gifts. Not many appreciated the humor in it. I thought they were great.

I'm looking forward to going to Mentone, in August, for the first time in almost 20 years. Vance and I will be doing a road trip.

I look forward to seeing the people and machines. I probably won't know many folks other than Vance.

Stan, are you going to be there?

Jim

Tom Milton makes it to every convention. I'll probably also attend.

Jim....If you are riding with Vance, I was looking forward to having Vance to my stairshop for another ribeye steak, baked potato and corn on the cob cookout
It would be an honor to entertain yet another great aviation mind!

Sounds wonderful Stan! I look forward to seeing you again!

Your PRA BOD & Convention planning team have been busy the last months getting a GREAT Convention planned!

OUR GYRO CFI's are OUR TREASURES ...and many have retired out & newer one left the scene for greener aviation pastures! (The onerous insurance burden has been a BIG factor in recent years!)

FACT (in ALL teacher-student scenarios!) Not every student pilot /personality will be a great match with any CFI's ... it is additionally difficult when there are so FEW gyro CFI.s ... and even when there is little or NO choice in YOUR region! Again IF YOU are trying to learn from those competent to TEACH IN /WITH/FOR the older "LEGACY" machines ...your choices of CFI are down to very FEW!

Most aspiring gyro fliers WILL NEED to TRAVEL -to TRAIN!

Sometimes it may take an "intro flight lesson " with several different CFI's to find the one who REALLY meshes WITH YOU (& your style of learning!)

PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL of our precious CFI's .... FULL,COMPLETE & CORRECT TRAINING SAVES LIVES!

Should you come to Mentone PLEASE ...NO DRAMA ...be CIVIL !

Y K W Y R!!!!
