Aviomania GS2.

600 ish solo gyro and 190 ish two place
Perhaps these are posted elsewhere, but I don't remember seeing them. The Aviomania has morphed into an even sexier design in my opinion. The front cowling is larger, which is my only complaint with the older version I have. Also there is a solid floor under the pilot and a semi cowling around the rear seat.

Hi Brian

These are the speck's for the old model. I only realizes now that I've not ask for the new speck's but will. The time difference in Cyprus will not allow me to get an anwser until about 1 AM tonight so I post this just so you would know about what they are now.

Joe how is your Viking engine performing?

the specs of the gyro in the picture are:

Max level speed …………………………………………………………… 92 Knots (105 Mph / 170Kmph)
Cruize speed at MTOW at 4900 -5000 RPM………………………… 65 Knots (75 Mph / 120Kmph) (+5 kt solo)

Engine …………………………………………………………………… Rotax 912 ULS (100 HP)

the weight includes ALL options AND the oil and coolant. oil and water coolers on that gyroplane are brass.... we can shave off another 2-4 Kg (3-9 lbs) using lighter accessories.

i have flown passengers of 110Kg (240 lbs) from our short runway of 250m (~800 ft)

My neighbor just finished putting together the latest MTO sport. It weighed in at 601 pounds. A 70 pound weight savings would likely make the 100 hp a serviceable engine. I have seen multiple two place European style machines take off and land on my grass strip and the climb-out with two passengers was marginal at best, which is why I felt I had to look for 130HP. But shaving off 70 pounds is like adding hp, and I suspect I could have made that work. JAL my Honda engine is finally giving me the performance I had hoped for and my confidence is back...although I still try not to fly over something I can't land on.

Looks like a sweet ride, Joe. Your own private Grass strip? Even better. With neighbors who like to fly as well, maybe they help out with the mowing and such, heh heh. Any info on the Avio's range and fuel usage?

Depending on prop setting, cruiz speed and load the range is 280 -350 miles at 4 to 5 Gph
