Why are you talking for Todd?! To look more significant? He is a big and intelligent man. And when he wants and needs to say something He will. So, talk for yourself.
Not so long ago one person got too emotional in describing what a piece of wonder you are. The peculiar thing by the way: among all members, you are practically the only person, who gets in such, not filled with love situations. Maybe it is a fit of jealousy, that you have so much to say? 17,093 posts! If a post per day then it takes 46 years and 303 days! My God, you gave people more than half of your life of opinions. But there are always ungrateful ones in the crowd. I wish our beloved and very respectable Chuck B., Doug R., Earnie B, and some others were less lazy and more responsible and feel a little bit ashamed when looking at their posts numbers. I really love to read and reread their Posts. They never ask for an opinion, because they know in what part of the lower body those opinions are stored. They ask what do you know and what did you learn from your experience. And that is what they share with us: Their incredible knowledge and unique experiences.
Well, back to the too emotional and not loving person. After his post, there was some silence. And what a strange moment (which I kind of regret): it was me, the first person, who tried to calm Him down. But I can not find that post now. Was it removed? Why? Who allowed to do so? I threw my fragile body under the "emotional raging tank" and...?! Where are praises and interviews with other honorable members of the Forum elite? Or even pictures together, open admirations, etc? The question is very simple: who is trying to sabotage my Hollywood career?!

I am speaking for Todd because he got tired of dealing with the people who would not listen and wanted to fight to the point he was ready to shut down the forum.

He has not flown in a number of years and has a very busy life so the expense and the effort seemed misplaced.

The forum is not self supporting, his moderators had gotten burned out and without supervision the forum devolved into something Todd found distasteful.

Kevin and I have received a lot of benefit from the Rotary Wing Forum so we stepped in to help.

There is no need to keep repeating yourself Georgi; even a casual reader understands that you don’t like moderation and you don’t like me. I am comfortable with your feelings and you are not alone in your dislike of me and moderation.

You are not likely to wear me down and it is not your forum so you will not always get your way.

It is likely that I am not motivated in the same way you are so assigning your motivations to me is without purpose.

I would be grateful if you would figure out exactly what you are trying to accomplish and say it out plain instead of repeating the same thing over and over.

If you have learned so much from your forum heroes perhaps you would play it forward for the people who have not been here as long as you.

That will make me a smaller percentage of the forum content.

I don't know Spank. I did not remove off topic and it is not my forum. I like some of the off topic threads a lot.

In the best run forum I have participated in we had off topic thread, but absolutely no politics or personal attacks. They would just be deleted. So I agree with this here too. Certainly fine to have off topics, but keep politics and personal attacks out. The issue is now here in the US if people don’t agree with something they call it politics and cancel the person so just have to avoid that approach somehow.

I already stole some of their time. Plus, “The most fruitless activity in the world - arguing with bureaucrats, absorbed by their own significance”.

Resasi, it is pretty sad for me to hear that from you. Without really knowing you, just by reading your posts, I started respecting you very much. And by asking "a dead horse" ( by the way, I did not know, that he recently changed his name) just one question "what happened to my post?'" I expected a short answer. And "that is it". But somehow "a dead horse" has some problems to answer. Well, to cheer you up, as soon as I'll finish at my studio a new single I send that hit to you. You won't be disappointed with the Hi-Fi quality of it.

I have not deleted a post of yours Georgi.

When I have deleted a post I explained to the poster why.

It is a choice I have; if someone else deleted your post there is no requirement to explain.

I don’t know how to find out about it.

Incidentally, one of my previous posts on this thread has disappeared. Deleted? Do we have a mischevious hacker? Do I care? No.

BTW, this thread has some marked similarities to the one which caused Todd to consider closing the forum some time ago.

Might bear thinking about.
