The First Amendment states that our
government cannot prohibit or censor speech.
It does NOT cover private property, such as someone's home or business or even an internet forum.
A private property owner does not have to allow anyone who wants, on his
Private Property, to converse, publish, assemble peacefully, worship any religion they wish, nor any other freedoms the government cannot prohibit. It is important to
distinguish between the freedoms allowed by our Constitution & private property rights.
This RWF is Todd Powell's private property that he set up to keep rotorcraft knowledge alive & to promote safety w/ the help of rotorcraft-interested people from around the globe. He has the right to allow what he wants expressed on his private property.
He has specifically stated many times to take politics elsewhere. Personal attacks, profanity, & posting of repeated words typed by childish behaviorists round out the four items not allowed on his forum.
Expression of religious beliefs here seem to go unmentioned, since this is a rotorcraft forum, but have you noticed that there are plenty of other places on the world-wide web one can find that topic?
There are many who very well like this forum that way!
Lots of freedom here.
Just avoid the "crud" of uncivilized keyboard behavior.
If someone doesn't like the rules in this sandbox, there are plenty of other sandboxes to get down into the mud & fling it around.
