[OT] Wilga on steroids

Active Member
The PZL 104 Wilga was a very redoubtable bush plane in its own right, also used for glider tow. It used to be one of the favourites at competitions of what in Germany is called "Superorchideen", airplanes with 70+ feet of wingspan. Well, that wasn't enough for this gentleman, so look how he gave this plane one huge shot in the arm...;-)

Have a nice weekend!

Saw many video's of this plane never knew who built it until now. Thanks for sharing.

The previous owner of the PRA Mentone airport also owned a Wilga for the Mentone skydiving operation.

The Wilga is a bit of a rough beauty and yours is looking really great, Barry! She reminds me a bit of the MS-230 of which I had posted pictures in this, the history section of the forum. Please keep us informed on your progress, keep my fingers crossed that all goes smoothly.
