OT - Ammo About to get REAL Expensive

hi,
My new state representative stoped by the other day while I was splitting wood for next winter. He wanted to know what my most important issues were. I shut the splitter down and I said, staying warm next winter if I cant afford or get fuel oil and will wood stoves be legal next year. From there we moved to how my property taxes were taking a bigger bite out of my fixed income. My third issue was my gun rights, but by now he was wanting to move on down the road. I told him My issues but I doubt if anything will change because of it. I have guns and I have ammo, I can take the eye out of a turkey 250 yards with my 22 mag so a hand full of 22 mag's would be all I need for food and a short 12 ga. pump for close up protection.

The rabid gun owners who want no control over anything firearmswise, battling it out with their own administration, that they are convinced are out to 'GET THEM'. Fantastic. With a bit of luck, this battle will turn the U.S. again into an isolationist country and give the rest of the world a big sigh of relief. The ammo is out.

I have been on the internet for two days trying to buy a case of SKS ammo.

Most places just say "sold out no backorder".

A case of 1000 military steel laquered Wolf brand usually runs about $350.00 delivered.

Now places that do have prices up that say they can backorder it's $500.00 for a 1000 round case undelivered.

And these bullets are steel laquered cased and not the reloadable brass.

Yep, expensive isn't the word.
