They have a big Oktoberfest event nearby every year.
Lots of beer & drinking. Will they be doing that at the airport?

Hey! I thought it was Saturday the 6th. Now I'm confused?

It was going to be on Saturday, but we found out that a significant percentage of our flying membership wouldn't be able to make it that day so we moved it to Sunday. I really hope that doesn't screw you up too bad Kandace, it would be great if you could make it down!

Oktoberfest was a rousing sucess. I flew the Cub down and even managed to give Adam H a ride! I also took someone else up but I cannot recall his name?

On the way back I went by way of the lakefront. What a beautiful trip! I actually went by the Sears Tower. Wow that is one tall building.

Thanks for having me down Chapter 18!

P.S. I understand there were a few other people that wanted to go up Cubbin'. I'm sorry I couldn't get to you. Next time Speak up!

Thanks for coming down Kandace. We also had an RAF, Marchetti and Magni giving gyro rides. Several attendees got their first gyro rides ever on Sunday.

I hated not being able to run the Chicago Marathon Sunday, but it was worth giving it up for the club.
