OK March gyro meeting

The monthly OK gyro meeting for March will be this Saturday, March 11, 9:30-noon at Page airport, just west of Yukon (which is just west of OK City).

Anyone needing directions send me an email or private message.

We should have several flying gyros there this time, free coffee and donuts.

We had a really good turn out on a beautiful day yesterday! A total of 7 gyros were there! Duane Hunn was there; he’s been doing training and test flying the past week or two, Greg from Texas was there with his RAF, Roger and his RAF from Arizona (I think it’s Arizona), Paul had his RAF there, me, Kelly, and Marty (Marty wasn’t there, but his gyro represented him).

Joe Ward from Bridge Creek came for the first time; welcome Joe!

Don Parham, Jim Little, Alan Coats and Hank Iverson drove their usual long distances to attend, much appreciated guys, your presence adds a lot.

Jody and Larry have partnered on another Bensen; now they’ll each have one to fly when they get them going.

I’m planning on trailering my gyro up to Ponca City next weekend to fly with Alan and his Gyrobee.

Hank has his RAF apart to some degree and hopes to be flying this spring or summer.

Our next meeting will be the second Sat in April; I’ll send out a reminder before then.
