Maybe some PeachState Chapter 56 folks can be there...

Maybe some PeachState Chapter 56 folks can be there...

I am tentatively planning to be there, and am seeing if I can round up some other folks from PeachState Chapter 56 to be there as well. If we are lucky, we may be able to talk Gary into bringing Captain America gyro, or possibly another??...

This will be the week immediately after our Chapter 56 quarterly meeting in Rome, so that could have an effect on the other guys.

Hope to see you there.

Mark

Still planning to attend

Still planning to attend

I'm still planning to attend and will be bringing new member "GK2" Gerald K. We will be looking go get him 'hooked' with his first gyro flight. He has been excitedly participating in all Chapter 56 airport get-togethers, and needs to take that next step.

Gary W. may come with Captain America gyro and jcarleto is still considering it as well.

JC Magnan - the generator is out in our camper. I see on your website that you have "limited electrical hookups." Will it be a problem to get one on Friday night?

See you there!
Mark

Hey Jonathan.....you comin' down for a visit?

O.B. Brown Memorial Fly-in --- power

O.B. Brown Memorial Fly-in --- power

We'll have power there for those who need it. Also water hoses.

Don't forget there is an Ingles supermarket at the end of the field, also a Huddle House, a truck stop cafe, a cafe in the supermarket, a Chinese restaurant, and a motel.

Looking forward to seeing all of you!

John

Bring on the models -- RC aircraft

Bring on the models -- RC aircraft

We just received the AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) insurance policy.

So, bring on the small aircraft! Note that we have a separate field for those.

Someone else, possibly Shane Nothdurft, will be handling those details. He already has a motorhome on the field. He's the one with the helicopter for sale at the last fly-in at Wrens -- it's been sold.

Hope so Jonny.....all the cool people will be there.

I am hoping that there might be a few gyro's there this time out....Boy motel might get half full.

What type of hanger space are looking at having? :noidea:

Space in hangar for gyros

Space in hangar for gyros

Chris,
As usual, the hangar is crowded. But, as in the past, aircraft can be moved and also the gyros could be put down the center of the hangar.

Tomorrow (Thursday) I will be putting up the two tents so gyros could be put under them.

See you soon!

John
