When my kit was first shipped to me the crate was damaged and besides damage to the cabin the windscreen was scratched. Nicolas sent me replacement parts, decals, windscreen, etc.
I've used the scratched windscreen and before starting the 40hr fly off, while filling the fuel tank the first time, the hose on my fuel caddy ruptured and sprayed me and the Gyro with fuel. Where the fuel hit the windscreen small craze marks, which looked like cracks, appeared.
Have several down days now due to winds so finally replaced the windscreen. Amazing what a small change can do to the look!
