Should or is there a limitation of speed for new pilots?
Above certains speeds (over 90 mph) should a pilot have special training and release from an instructor?
Do modern gyro designs go to speeds that can overcome a low time pilot's hability to react?
thanks

If you are flying open frame you will be hard pressed to push it much past 75. Even if your machine has extra power like mine. Flat out at 90 is tiring on the body. If you have a pod and a windscreen then you might be able to cruise well past open frame speeds. Frankly at 60 mph its a comfortable trade off for cruise, fuel economy and air pulls on the body.

I have flown on up to 100 but it is not comfortable. Gyros are not meant to be speed demons.
