I am hoping to get advice or maybe find the parts. I bought a tango gyro rotor head, i have a Subaru JE 2.5 engine, and fairly tight cowling and it seems impossible to run a straight shat pre-rotator. I was hoping to find either a Hydraulic unit to mount or an electric pre-rotator.
If I find a way to mount a gold wing 1500 starter I would need a soft start kit of some kind or use the flex shaft unit but hard to find places to build it and even when I do most don't have experience with the Subaru engine. Anyone got suggestions or thoughts????

Probably the easiest way would be use a pre-rotator for sparrowhawk or RAF .
Should be some good used parts somewhere .

Contact Fusioncopter in Poland and find out what they use for the Nano.

I have one hyd motor / pump for sale. It is ready to fit a gyro (modified) to fit a square shaft.
Thanks for the reply right now weighing all options would it have the gear box for the Bendix drive and what I have is a round shaft with a pin that goes through it. Can I make an adapter for that?

Isn't the Nano an ultralight? powered by a little Simonini, or something?

Ultralight yes...power Hirth F23

I didn't see the connection to the Subaru engine and Nano, what did I miss?

UFO was maybe looking into hydraulic pre-rotators

Probably the hydraulic prerotator parts... not sure of the brand, but the (probably European) hydraulic motors that Nano uses are so much cleaner looking than the Parker versions that you see over here..
Something I have been meaning to look into...

If the shaft is a standard Wunderlich Bendix shaft, it should have a 1/2 inch square tube piece pinned to the bottom.
