I'm planing to get auto-gyro MTOsport or maybe Calidus .
I didn't like the Calidus passenger seat , I feel the view is not like open cockpit as the MTO .
what about the engine , shall I get the Rotax turbo or none turbo ?
Thanks

Man you would COOK in the Calidus in your country unless you got the open sided canopy. I think you will be best with MTO sport for your part of the world.

My reaction was the opposite. I prefer the Calidus back seat over the MTO. I''d buy the Calidus (with a 914) between the two if I had the choice.

Get the MTOSport, it's just more fun to fly open cockpit when it's hot. Whether you're better off with a 912 or a 914 depends on a couple of things:

1) Do you rarely fly from unimproved rough strips shorter than 300 m?

2) Do you rarely fly with passengers?

3) Does the price premium of the 914 hurt you?

If you answer "Yes" to the majority of these questions then get a 912.

Easy decision, one of each. Maybe a Cavalon as well !!!!!

I'd ask Desmon Butts (forum member) about his instrument panel. He had problems with glare and solved them. He used a diffent type instuments and installed a glare sheild.
