QThis evening I found another new surprise!!! The Cavalon radiator fan on here I'm working on completely detached!! Because only fixed with putty to the radiator fins! I think it's REALLY VERY poor work!! Especially for a model of this LEVEL it is COSTLY!!

I replaced mine in a Calidus a few years back and use the Right stuff silicone sealer and had no problems.
Autogyro wanted $800ish for a new one, mine had an oem part number which comes back to an earlier model Volkswagen, at that time was around $50 .

I have never seen a fan "glued" to radiator fins. Usually there are at least 4 fasteners that attach to the frame, or are pushed through the fins
between the cores and they have foam tape on the surfaces that come in contact with the fins.
That fan looks like a standard aftermarket automotive fan that can be found for under $50 USD.

Was it aircraft glue or automotive glue :). Just kidding. Freaking ridiculous to glue things like this to a radiator in an aircraft. Sorry.

Era colla per aerei o colla per automobili :)? Stavo solo scherzando. È dannatamente ridicolo incollare cose del genere al radiatore di un aereo. Scusa.
E It's like a very hard silicone, yes! Well I find it very unprofessional for a company like this!!

BTW that looks like a cheap arse VW radiator that used to sell for $78 at Lockwood. It works though.
