Mosquit0 air/xe transmission

Correct me if I am wrong but the mosquito Air and XE only have one gear box and that is the tail rotor, correct? All the other transmission components are v belts and cog belts?

Thanks,
Nick

They have two...the front is called a "splitter" it's a 3-way, the TR is a 2-way.

They have temp probes on them.

Their bottom seals tend to leak and a secondary seal is sometimes necessary (mine are on order).

cburg,
any way you could post a few pics or email me a few pics of the system as a whole, im split between a mosquito XE or a Rotorway that has the tail rotor drive shaft mod. I know what the rotorway looks like the guy who is selling it has sent me almost a hundred pictures of it to me, however I cannot get a good idea in my head about the mosquito because the pictures on the internet are very limited.

Thanks,

Nick

Send me your e-mail on a PM and I'll get some shots for you. Note mine is an XET and is different.

Also check this out if you haven't already.
