Most of you probably know this already, but due to a family obligation conflict, Steve Pitcairn can't make it to Oshkosh in time for Airventure this year.
The plan was for Steve to fly the Pitcairn PCA-2 autogyro "Miss Champion" to the show, and donate it to the museum there. He still plans to fly the rare machine (last flying machine that has Cierva's direct input in it) to Wittman Field and donate it to the museum, but it will be some other time this year.
Bummer. I was looking forward to seeing this more than anything there.
