I'm interested in the rotor head, but you should price everything out for others that might be interested.

The broken pitch horn looks like some one dropped it.
My concerns are:
the missing bolts
the spindles are A type
the back plate is B type
the axils are A type
the teeter blocks are B type. A type undersling is 2". B type undersling is 1 1/2"
If the bearings have been upgraded, you would not be able to put oil in the spindles, well it would be hard because the upgrade bearing blocks the hole.
If the spindles are bent the system is worthless
30 years old, unreplaceable and will have to be totally rebuilt.
I want the head to experiment with a jumper
Just so ya know the swash plate and control rods look great
The tranny is an A type that will also need upgrades. B types are mounted with Berry mounts and have different bearings and cases.

What happened to Hawk and the MH1 conversions?, they just suddenly went off the map.

According to Rick, the Millenium Helicopter partnership between himself & John H. dissolved when John went west to pan for gold in the Colorado Rockies, essentially abandoning the MH business.
I had started down the path of a MH conversion by purchasing a new Mini-500 kit that was minus the tail assembly, but had the new engine mount they made for the Yamaha 3-cylinder sled engine, as well as the updated transmission. Trying to work w/ John was exasperating for me w/ too many broken promises that he had made to me. He seemed bent on striking it rich by gold mining instead of working the MH business while he was still in Arkansas.
John had the CNC data but refused to share it w/ Rick.
Rick has finished some of the MH conversions & told me they fly like a dream.
He wanted a 2-seater heli, so he went over to the certified helis.

I'd buy this head but I already have two.
The mixed match parts make no difference in performance.
This will be a great platform for a jump type gyro.
You will most likely have to make new teeter blocks to correct the undersling.
How come none of you garage engineers haven't gotten the head yet.
Not like you can go buy one off the shelf
I'd like to see what Y'all come up with so I could copy it.
I'm not smart enough to come up with my own design.

I have 2 mini 500 exhausts for 582 rotax if anyone is in need . One stock exhaust - unused , and one performance exhaust with jetting kit . Both are ceramic coated . Would like to trade stock exhaust for side mount 582 exhaust or $350 . Performance exhaust w/ jet kit $450 .
