Main Rotor Thrust Calculation

Hi rotorheads..
how to caculate the main rotor thrust and is there a principle diffrence btw a propellor and rotor? secondly the lift calcualtion for a rotating to blade .. how to cater for the rotating blade angular velocity for the linear velocity in the normal lift equation in case of fixed wing ?
