do any of you fellas live in nm. i would sure like to get involved here. are there any events in this area.

I Lived in El Paso Texas, about 30 min. from NM. What part are you in . I have order a Falcon gyro hope to have it by the end of this month.

let me know

mu,

A couple of things. Here on the forum it is requested to either use or have your real name available in your profile. Thanks.

Second. Can we assume (that's dangerous ;) ) that lvnm is Las Vegas, New Mexico? If so then you'd be closer to the guys in Albuquerque, Clovis, or maybe Grants. There are only two in southern NM that I know about, myself and Smokey who is rebuilding a Barnet J4B2. John in El Paso has started a build. Not NM but El Paso is more associated with us than Texas. :rolleyes:

I live and fly in Gallup. We tried to get NM people together a while back and we even scheduled a meeting. 2 of us showed up and I was the only one that brought a gyro. The wind blowed about 50 mph all day and there was no flying. It kind of died out after that.

Sorry Tom,
Got my "G" towns mixed-up. ;)

We might try again NOT in the spring. :D

I live in Farmington - new to gyros and this forum - still trying to figure out how to navigate around the forum site. Have dominator rolling chassis, 24 ft DW blades and rotor head but this wont be a legal ultralight so started plan building a kb2. I have a 72 hp mac and need help in determining its status.

what are you going to do with the dominator chassis, interested in getting rid of it?
Carey

Yes I would sell the Dominator chassis for $4500. I am into it for that plus the cost of going to E. Boyetts place in FL to pick it up. Also have the full nose pod and windshield (not installed) that I bought seperate ( another $400 dollar item) I would include. Some time this spring or summer I am probably going to Caddo Mills to take my MAC to R&D for tear down and evaluation and could haul the Dominator.

HI Iam Shawn

I live on the east side of the Sandias, just outside of Albuquerque. I don't fly at the present time, but hope to some day.

When would you guys think might be a good time to try another meeting/ get together? I agree,spring isn't good, its a little to windy.
