Lightweight rotary bearing installation
The installation process of the lightweight slewing ring is as follows:

1. Avoid contact with any solvents.

Do not paint the seal when sealing the seal or entering the raceway.

2. Contact support connection

The surface must be clean. Welding of nodules, burrs, paint and other accessories is not allowed. The contact surface should be free of lubricant and must be kept dry.

3. When installing, the hardened soft belt should be outside the main load area.

4. The pre-tightening bolts shall be star-shaped and shall be symmetrical and continuous in the 180° direction. Finally, make sure that the bolts on the circumference pass through the same preload force.

Spring washers are strictly prohibited.

5. Gear meshing clearance

For toothed rotating supports, the backlash is adjusted according to the highest radial runout point of the pitch circle (three teeth with green paint markings). The minimum value of the side gap is typically 0.03-0.04X modulus. After the final fastening support, the meshing clearance of the pinion over the entire circumference should be re-examined.

6. Lubricate

1) When delivered, a small amount of extreme pressure lithium grease is applied to the slewing bearing raceway. The user should refill the new grease according to different working conditions and run it during filling to evenly distribute the grease.

2) The first tooth lubrication must be performed immediately after installation. The tooth surface must have sufficient lubricating film.

3) The rotating bearing raceway should be filled with grease regularly. A general ball support for each frame grease should be added for 100 hours of rotation. For roller support, grease should be added for 50 hours. For support under special working conditions such as high temperature or dusty, the filling time should be shortened appropriately. Sufficient grease must be added before and after the equipment has been shut down for a long time. Each time the lubrication must be filled with grease in the raceway until it seeps out of the seal.

7. Check the bolt

After 100 hours of continuous operation, the pre-tightening force of the mounting bolts should be thoroughly checked, and the above inspection should be repeated every 500 hours of continuous operation.

8. Check the sealing system

Sealing tapes and systems must be inspected at least every 12 months. In proper operation, the sealing tape must remain intact. When cleaning parts, avoid contact with the sealant or entering the raceway system.
