Very nice.

What descent rate can you achieve with that Peter?

On the video you can se the VSI stuck on 1,000 foot per minute descent, but I have seen 1,500 FPM and more. I rarely have the opportunity to enjoy drops of more than 500 feet, so I have to be quick on the recovery...

Have done some timed vertical descents in a Bensen from between 3 and 4,000' and they tended to stabilise around 1,500'/min, which is a pretty hefty sink rate. The recovery which entails putting the nose down increased this and could consume another 3-500'. These figures would vary with the OAT, the size rotor I was using as I had 22's and 23's, and the size of my last meal.
