Ken Brock Freedom Fly-In (KBFFI) 27-29 September 2024, El Mirage Dry Lake, California

Tony Arcurso has a nice collection of his photos up on his & PRA Facebook pages! reduced numbers by the looks from the big 60th gathering last year!

I managed to take some photos of Wayne's Dominator at El Mirage today. Indeed, the airfoil on the horizontal stabilizer is inverted asymetrical. It is a good looking airframe.

GREAT pictorial coverage on FB pages. Tony Accurso & Dawn Rogers-Smith!

Looking at the lunch crowd & range of gyros - Saturday crowd looked very close to 60th gathering! -Wonderful to see!

One of the best Tony's pictures.
I was sick again, the same as last year. I had stomach flu. I only set up the camp on the lake and tear down. I did make a quick fly
Saturday and thanks to Tony I do have proof I was there. I know everyone there misses me. I'm not dead yet.

Tony: Thanks for sharing your eye for great photography w/ all the rest of us rotorcraft enthusiasts!
I think both photos ought to be cover photos in the Rotorcraft E-zine!

You got some great shots Tony, this is one of my favorites

I just heard that Teddy has a Mirocopter! (Coaxial heli)

I've been lusting after one of those for several years...

The rep was there flying it, he said delivered to your door $42,000. 1 day assembly

I was impressed, not sure if I could fly it
Dave,

Mark the dealer told me the maximum pilot weight is 270 lb. Within my mind for that 60 hp two stroke engine, that is alot of torque on those pulleys for that weight. Maybe alright at sea level on a standard day.

Another outstanding event hosted by PRA Chapter 1. Thank you to everyone involved in making the Ken Brock Freedom Fly-In one of the best aviation events in the U.S.
Tony,

Fantastic photos you created.

I forwarded the PRA Facebook link to another aviation photographer and good friend of mine, Roy Rausch. He is currently taking photos for the Pacific Airshow in Huntington Beach, CA.
