Hey All , Hope to see ya'll at Benson Days the 22-27 March . I will be there and arriving the week end before to get my training in with Steve McGowan .I'm looking forward to my initial instruction .
Got a couple of questions about my KB3 . I dont have an operating manual and was there ever one available ? I have Benson blades , a 582 with a 5 blade prop. How do I know the when the blades are are at correct rpm for take off and what is the velocity for take off ?
I'm still looking for a tall 'T' tail or the plans for such . I have a Benson air-frame and rotor head I'd trade parts off of .

If you don’t have a rotor tachometer Steve will show you how to tell visually when you have control of the rotor.

I prefer a rotor tachometer.

With practice you will feel the rotor get hold of the air and the nose will lift.

When you balance on the main gear and add power she will lift off when she is ready, there is no particular airspeed for lift off and you don’t rotate like an airplane.

I hope to see you at Bensen Days cycleflyer.
