Hi everyone! I’m Charles Rehberger and I split my time between Bellingham WA and Guam. Thanks in advance to all the great gyro info posted by members on this site. I’ve been a professional pilot my entire life, I’m 63 and flying 737’s in Guam for United, but I really started out wanting to be a commercial helicopter pilot! Didn’t work out, but I’ve always followed helicopter and gyrocopter flying, and now this week I finally got to fly with Armin with Maui Hanggliders in his MTO 2017 gyrocopter out of Hana on Maui, really loved it. Flying with Armin is a blast, I may get my gyrocopter rating from him. The pic is Armin’s hangar in Hana. I would love to get an MTO and have it up in Bellingham, maybe find a partner. I also saw the Tango 2, I’ve had some rotax powered sport aircraft (Zenith 701’s) where I live, I’m surrounded by mountains and the San Juan islands, so engine reliability is a big deal. Yamaha makes great bikes, but what do you think of a snow machine engine on a gyro? Update, just read the thread on the Yamaha engine, with my water and terrain, a Rotax is a better fit! Anyway I’ve learned more about gyrocopters on this site in several days, then all the reading I had done to this point. I look forward to interacting with, and maybe meeting members here. Glad to be a member!

Welcome to the forum Charles!
You'll find a ton of fantastic information and very interesting (if not somewhat heated at times) conversations about any/every topic in the gyro world.
I hope your training goes well and you get the gyro of your dreams; they are truly amazing machines

Greetings Charles, I am wondering If we met. I lived on Lummi Island for 10 years and met another pilot who also spent part of the year in Guam....
Ever own a property on Lummi?

No, I’ve only been flying Guam for 2 years, before that I was based in SFO. I do love Lummi island though, flying along the south ridge is epic!
