I have been trying to get ahold of Powerfin, they dont answer the phone or answer emails, or answer massages on their facebook page. I am trying to get 1 blade for a 68" prop so I will have a spare. does anyone know?

I am going to try to contact Jason again today...
I am also waiting on some stuff..
I know they they shut down for a bit as they moved to a new location. (Checked it out on google Earth... Looks like a nice storefront)
I'll post back if I talk to him.

Any news? I have a 3 blade 68inch powerfin with a damaged blade. I haven't seen it in person yet. I think it's just minor stuff, maybe I can just epoxy it back together. Or should I try buying a new 2 blade spinner? They are adjustable and the last owner had a subaru ea81 on it but im going ultralight.

No news.
I tried contacting Jason again a few days ago.
Left another phone message and an email. Email was the same auto reply....
"As of January '24 we are putting hold on new orders as we relocate to our new facility." Or something like that.

Surprisingly the other day, I got a friend suggestion on Facebook. The name seemed familiar, so I clicked on their profile an it was indeed Jason who was (is) the GM for Powerfin.

Seems he has since started up an axe throwing business. Looks to be quite busy.
Probably more fun than making propellers...

AXE THROWING! How do you pay the bills with that? Good investigation bro. Now what should I do? I assume every blade manufacturer has a different design for there blades. Im not sure if i can find or how much the prop blade or a 2 blade spinner would be. I guess I could just pay abunch and have a 2 blade spinner machined. It would be cool if Jason would allow a cnc machinest access to his master CAD/CAM file so the specs were perfect and there wouldn't be alot of trouble to make it.

Hope that they have not decided to call it quits. Nice to have some American mfg's still available...

Switch to Warpdrive, you won't regret it, quit dealing with people who don't have the professional courtesy to respond to your repeated attempts.

I have dealt with both Warp and Powerfin in the past and both had been great to work with.
I have had very good service from Ivo Prop also, don't want to leave them out. :)
I am just trying to get one blade for a powerfin, don't really want to get a new complete prop, just want to have a spare just in case.

A few months back, I carried the two Ivo Props from my Aircam down to the factory for overhaul in LongBeach. Sketchy neighborhood going in but once in the facility, the service was first class. They performed a complete disassembly and overhaul of all the components and I left a happy customer that same afternoon. They allowed me to stay and watch as he performed all the service so it was very educational.

I can highly recommend Ivo Prop if anyone is interested in their products.
