Is Chapter 26 still active?

Is chapter 26 still organized and active or does any other Florida chapters exist? I don't see any listed on the PRA website. I'm in West/Central Florida and looking for a group to learn from and contribute to. I don't have my Sport Pilot Certificate yet but hope to begin training soon. I made it down to Bensen days this past year and had a blast! Any info would be greatly appreciated!

No, Sunstate Wing & Rotor Club /PRA Chapter 26 folded several years ago - after B-Days and their treasurer at the time cleaned out their bank acct & no one wanted to be bothered with the legal accountability.
Still a few members with a bunch of gyros in the Wauchula hangars ...Slow Joe is still there much of the time tinkering & fixing, working on engines. Many of the other hangers lost doors to Irma & they are still open hangars.

Covid took out a couple more of the core of the club members. So a functioning club no longer exists although there are a lot of gyro owners flying in FL.

A group of dedicated locals formed the separate Bensen Days inc. - to continue the structure needed to keep holding the wonderful Bensen Days Event in early April.
