Ignition Parts help for Carbureted 2.2 GTX

I have a carbureted 1995 2.2 and I am looking for information on the ignition parts used in this setup. The ignition box is sealed metallic about the size of a pack of cigarettes. The coil is a 3 wire but has different connector from the FI models. The crank and cam triggers are direct wire type and don't have a plug at the sensor.

I just replaced the one on a machine I am restoring. I found industrial bearing and drive belt suppliers carry them. I'm overseas so got a Gates brand Powergrip GT3 880-8MGT

I have an identical engine, 2.2 with crank triggered ignition with lots of warnings about this system , and an equal number of people swear its ok.
I harvested an intake manifold , sensors , Wiring loom and ECU from a 2.5 Subaru thats put in storage. I'd really like some feedback from anyone who has put fuel injection on a 2.2 using a harvested 2.5 FI manifold. Email is Ramjet555 at g male
