Idle too high

I unfortunately had to replace my engine recently. The old one had broken valves lodged in pistons. Everything works great except that it idles too high, around 1500rpm. The throttle position sensor is set full counter-clockwise for lowest rpm. Idle control valve is clean. I even did the Subaru relearn procedure - no difference. Any ideas?

It would be helpful if you would reveal what happened to your last engine, what engine you have now and what sort of gyroplane it is.

How you managed the wiring and sensors would also be helpful.

Often a leak in the inlet system (throttle body to engine) or a bad vacuum hose will cause a fast idle.

GET A CAN OF CARB SPRAY CLEANER. WITH ENGINE RUNNING SPRAY AROUND BASE GASKET AND VACCUUM HOSES. IF YOU HAVE A LEAK IDLE SPEED WILL CHANGE
