Just a quick note. I like to kid around on this forum some of the time. I mostly do this to people I know personally and know beyond the realms of this forum. Chuck Irby and John Stevens are just two of the several people I joke on here.
I think some of you out there must think or take what I type as always being serious, especially cause I don't use the smiles on alot of my posts. -
the reason you do not see these in many of my posts is cause I use the quick reply box under the last post in a tread and there isn't a choice to use smiles in that posting option. It is apparent I post alot and sometimes I just don't have time to use the regular posting box where the smiles are there to use.
I would say I will just stop joking around with my friends and just post nothing but serious stuff here or not post at all, but I would be lieing if I told you that. All I can say to you people is don't read into my posts too seriously and don't assume I am really being a A hole to others when the truth is I am just playing around with friends that also use the forum.
Sometimes It may seem like I am picking when in fact I am not. Sorry It isn't more obvious when I am doing one or the other. That is what sucks about this form of communication.... I think I upset Stan a week or two ago when I asked in a post why his Yaw string was off to one side or the other in most of his photos. It was a simple and innocent question with nothing bad meant behind it. Same as when I asked McBirdman why he put gas into the hydro tank on the Tractor he was using earlier this week. Not to pick on him I just couldn't understand why he would do that even by mistake... I am the type of person to ask why the chicken crossed the road and sometimes it may seem like I am being a Butthead when I ask.
I also don't mean to knock anyones machine choice or style of flying. If it seems like I favor CLT and disfavor HTL it is only cause I feel the CLT is the better way to go. Not that I think your HTL gyro is a turd and I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Different strokes for different folks I say!
Anyway just needed to clear up some confusion. Have a nice day
