My Advanced Ground Instructor certificate!!

I am not a FLIGHT instructor (yet) but having my Advanced Ground Instructor cert might just come in handy.

I don't want to take any food out of gyroplane CFI mouths, but so far as I have seen most of them are busy with FLIGHT instruction and don't do much ground instruction.

If there is some interest I would be willing to give FREE ground instruction and Knowledge Test sign-offs as well as BFR ground training to PRA members at events or locally.

Non-PRA members will be charged a fair fee.

Congratulations Tim!

Congratulations Tim!

I feel that ground instruction is very important.

Some of the CFIs I have worked with would forget to charge for ground instruction.

If you were to give a ground instruction class at Bensen Days or the convention at Mentone I would be the first through the door.

You have a wonderful way of putting a program together.

I can always learn more and I would be happy to pay whatever fee you felt was appropriate.

Most of the fixed wing pilots I know are not good at flight planning and cannot gain full benefit from aeronautical charts because they don’t know how to read them.

It is not hard to imagine that it would save someone’s life or at least allow them to enjoy a wider range of flying activities.

Thank you, Vance

Tim- Congratulations! You do excellent presentations, always professional. Stan

I agree with Vance.....from what I've seen from you in this forum, it would be an advantage for anyone to spend the time in your classes.

Congrat`s Tim, I would like to see some ground school. I`ll be in the front row with Vance!

Tim, that's wonderful. See you at Bensen Days for some learning!

Tim,

Any chance we cooudl get you to attend "Rotors OVer the Rockies in UT. in June and do a ground training class? We would love to have you and could guarantee you a good crowd.

And at Mentone too... Ground school is something that is always good to sharpen one's knowledge...

Congrats Tim

Tim big congratulations.

Not all, but many Flight Instructor's do prefer to do just that.

You are demonstrably good at it, obviously dedicated, and put things across extremely well.

Definitely is a big gain for the gyro community.:first:

Thanks everyone!!

I will only be at BDays 2010 Th,F and Sat and Th I have the BOD meeting, so I don't know if there would be enough time to do anything at BDays. If anyone needs a written test sign-off at Bdays let me know ahead of time and we can set it up.

Also, if anyone is planning on getting their BFR at Bdays and your FLIGHT instructor is short on time I can do the ground review for you.

At Mentone I will be there all week so there should be plenty of time to fit in some sessions.

Perhaps we could have a 3 hour session broken into 3 parts, Written (knowledge Exam) material, Oral Exam (checkride) materials and how to optimize requirements for getting a sport pilot license?

I am just assuming that would be both popular and helpful.

Locally, if there is enough interest I would be happy to give ground school on Thursday nights in Mason, Ohio. I could give it for all Sport Pilots so we could get the other Light Sport folks in too.

Any training I give will ALWAYS be at a discount or free for current PRA members.

Congrats Tim,
You always put 100% into any of your gyro activities and I'm sure this will not be any different. You are a true asset to the movement. Next stop the Flight Instructor!

Paddy

Gratz Tim. You know the only problem I have had with my flying involved the ground.
