Has the TSA gone too far?

It ain't no joke guys.....

It ain't no joke guys.....

the TSA has gone power drunk and in my opinion become a place for sex offenders and pedophiles to get paid for what use to land them in jail... see story bellow.....

BTY I have flown overseas and they flat out do none of this stuff to you.....

Should Your Children Star in "Airport Porn"

.
The 31-year old software programmer's situation only made the news because he had the presence of mind to record the truly chilling ordeal on his cell phone. And because the incident got picked up by the Drudge Report, which specializes in publishing big government abuses of power that "mainstream" news agencies tend to spike......

When Tyler told the TSA agent wanting to feel his groin area that he would have him arrested if he "touched [his] junk," a supervisor was summoned and told Tyler:
"If you're not comfortable with that we can escort you out and you don't have to fly today."

To which Tyler responded: "OK, I don't understand how a sexual assault can be made a condition of my flying."

"This is not a sexual assault," the supervisor can be heard saying.

To which Tyler shot back: "It would be if you were not the government."

The TSA supervisor responded: "By buying your ticket you gave up a lot of rights."

"I think the government took them away after 9-11." Tyler responded.

It is all for show, it is the big "illusion" of security and has found nothing but nail clippers. The shoe bomber and the underwear bomber both went through security and nothing was found.

PROFILING WORKS!HELLO!

Benjamin Franklin said:
"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent terrorist threats, and have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". The English have not been "A Bit Cross" since the blitz in 1940, when tea supplies all but ran out. Terrorists have been re-categorized from "Tiresome" to "A Bloody Nuisance". The last time the British issued a "Bloody Nuisance" warning level was in 1588, when threatened by the Spanish Armada.

The Scots raised their threat level from "Pissed Off" to "Let's get the Bastards". They don't have any other levels. This is the reason they have been used on the front line of the British army for the last 300 years.

The French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from "Run" to "Hide". The only two higher levels in France are "Collaborate" and "Surrender". The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France 's white flag factory, effectively paralyzing the country's military capability.

Italy has increased the alert level from "Shout Loudly and Excitedly" to "Elaborate Military Posturing". Two more levels remain: "Ineffective Combat Operations" and "Change Sides".

The Germans also increased their alert state from "Disdainful Arrogance" to "Dress in Uniform and Sing Marching Songs". They also have two higher levels: "Invade a Neighbour" and "Lose".

Belgians, on the other hand, are all on holiday as usual; the only threat they are worried about is NATO pulling out of Brussels .

The Spanish are all excited to see their new submarines ready to deploy. These beautifully designed subs have glass bottoms so the new Spanish navy can get a really good look at the old Spanish navy.

Americans meanwhile, and as usual, are carrying out pre-emptive strikes on all of their allies "just in case".

Canada doesn't have any alert levels.

New Zealand has also raised its security levels - from "baaa" to "BAAAA". Due to continuing defence cutbacks, New Zealand has only one more level of escalation, which is "I hope Australia will come and rescue us".

Australia , meanwhile, has raised its security level from "No worries" to "She'll be alright, mate". Three more escalation levels remain: "Crikey!", "I think we'll need to cancel the barbie this weekend" and "The barbie is cancelled". So far no situation has ever warranted use of the final escalation level.

@Mark...
That was a great post Mark..!
Dam near blew my coffee across the room with some of those points I was chuckling so much.
Thanks for helping us all put a "smile" on our faces about the absurdity of it all.

Lost in the debate about the porn scans and legalized molestation is the sad evidence that TSA doesn't even get behavior detection right. Here's a story by Robert Poole of the Reason Foundation, about a failed program on which we're spending $200 million a year.

Click here and scroll down to "TSA Slammed on Behavior Detection." Read all the way to the end!

The following story, on the economic impact of security theater on short-haul airline flights, is also interesting.

TSA wont be happy till they take that dirty gloved hand and reach right up and grab your tounge and turn you inside out! - its all show-Look at Isreal they do it right! and what about search & personal RIGHTS! :twitch:and the government invasion of the most privte parts...:censored:....Time to NUKE the middle east.....:plane:.

TSA and Orgasms?

TSA and Orgasms?

I heard a rumor.....don't know if it's true or not.....but I hear a woman at Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport while being patted down faked a rather loud orgasm.
Supposedly there is audio but I can't find any mention of it. I caught a brief mention of it on the radio.
Can you imagine?

One big experiment

One big experiment

YouTube - 1/3 ''Obedience'' Milgram's experiment (1962)

This whole TSA thing smells like another Milgram experiment in preparation for something larger or more sinister. I mean there is just no reason to do this.

The fact is if the TSA was so worried about underwear bombers they would have put "enhanced" screening in place immediately after suspect incident last Christmas.

The patsy in that incident was already

on a watch list,

his own FATHER had gone to the authorities....

he had no passport and

was walked by the hand through security by at least 2 "handlers".

We know this because the witnesses on the flight have I phone video and photos of the culprits. This however has all been forgotten and buried by the empty heads that claim this crap is for our own good..... Now they are saying we need this new security 11 months after the incident, after reading all this I am really giving serious thought about not flying. I just do not want to risk my health, my mental health and my personal privacy for the sake of some security theater.

My wife's breasts were already squeezed in my presence a few years ago on a routine flight by a squat mexican TSA worker, [most likely an illegal alien] at the local airport. The whole thing just leaves you with a violated feeling that makes you wonder where this country is headed.

Now they are authorized to stick their dirty- (read) cross contaminated gloves down your pants after touching every other passengers junk. Its a total health hazard that could cause a pandemic in short order. Visualize someone who has been infected with anthrax or some other biological agent on their person, A single TSA worker could conceivably infect thousands and by other cross contamination tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of passengers in a single day from a single victim or [terrorist].

Just too stupid, and only something your government could come up with.

I wonder what they would do if you yelled HELP, RAPE!!???

More than likely they will arrest you for "public disturbance" and trump up a lot of other charges that they can dream up.

I skidded into a ditch once which I thought was just a single act..but no!
There was (1.)failure to maintain vehicle control...(2.) Too fast for conditions. (3) etcetera, (4.)etcetera,(5.) etcetera. Each one having a specific dollar amount attached.

Sure, if you can deter people from flying and bankrupt the airlines....Then you can take them over because they are "too big to fail" Boom, the Gov runs another industry, and controls that much more of the economy.
And on and on and on. You could be searched just for exiting your house and being on a "public" street.

One size shoe fits all government agency of political correctness so it is fair to everyone.

Wait until in the name of Health Care they dictate your whole life. Pictures of cancer victims on cigarette packages, taxes on pop, or how about pictures of auto accidents on the side of cars. Yes we definitely are transforming into one size shoe fits all; equality of income, standard of living and life style.

Ask Gabor what he thinks of this type transformation, he lived it in a former life.
At the risk of life he fled such a county that impugned on individual liberties.

I have a novel idea, How about we cut the average Federal salary from 74K down to 56K (average citizen), freeze the enforcement of Federal regulation back to 2000, anyone that can make a buck above last years taxable income, gets it tax free. Then see what happens.

Much cheaper than 35K per person on the stimulus as the government is a net user of wealth. Creating a product is called creating wealth, thus the evils of capitalism. (This is so off topic) lol

Some of you guys are coming over as being a bit precious.

Get real. This security is for an unfortunately sound reason, not just to take your liberty away.

You are correct, it is for a sound reason. It is the way it is being handled. Profile and use common sense. Reward the people that have to do the body scans.

Give them a free coffee, pop, or some other small comp. Possibly a coupon that if there is an opening in first class, they get the empty seat. The first class seats after a plane leaves the ground are like spoiled cabbage, they are of no value. Treat fliers as if they were your very best customer, not the enemy.
