Has anyone ever used a 2300cc Ford straight four for a rotorcraft powerplant?

I was wondering if a 2300cc straight four FORD engine would be too heavy for any rotorcraft. I have not looked up the weight, and also wonder if mating it to a gear box has been tried. Just wondering as I am new to the rotorcraft world.

That engine remains popular for performance mods in the UK. If it's been used in an aircraft, it's probably happened there.

Just a fledgeling
I believe that's what Anthony Spaglnolleti put in a two place Air Command that is now owned by Cliff Massey. We did a thrust test on it and it maxed out our 600 lb scale. Tony Thomas test flew it and never had to go full throttle.
