Looks to me like Irma's going straight WNW, across Florida and into the Gulf. Damn things won't change direction, unless forced to. That's one helluva lot of inertia going on there. And we still don't know enough about the electromagnetic nature of hurricanes to make any reasonable predictions based on that.
