Happy Independence Day to you Yanks! You all did the right thing in 1776. Try to make the most of it!

Thanks. Yes we did it right all the way up until now. But that's another story. I purchased my fireworks from "Three Finger Fireworks" this year. ;)

Colorado is one giant tinder box with heat and drought so no fireworks to celebrate today, but I took my "new" (1962) glider up to 13,700 feet today, and that seems like a fine way to celebrate.

Great way to celebrate. Hope you get some moisture soon. Happy 4th.

[King George III] asked his American painter, Benjamin West, what Washington would do after winning independence. West replied, “They say he will return to his farm."
“If he does that,” the incredulous monarch said, “he will be the greatest man in the world.”

Happy Independence Day! It's pretty dire over here in your Mother Country.

Wishing you all a very happy Independence Day, may the festivities be happy.

Thank you Andino. 247 years young USA! May we all forget our miniscule differences and embrace all that we share in common.

My wife and I participated in our annual 4th of July Independence Day parade here in Santa Clarita earlier today. It was so very nice to see the faces of so many different people along the parade route. All celebrating our Nation's birthday.

I wish everyone a very safe and memorable Independence Day celebration with family and friends.
