AbidHi Mike
I didn’t because I don’t think it’s a software issue. I think it’s the switch. Software logic generally remains consistent upon a certain input. It doesn’t have its own mind and does what it does sometimes and sometimes not. I just have to get around to hanging the switch.
That has been my diagnosis so far but I can send the prototype unit back to Chris if you want.
I have been focused a lot on developing the Recon airplane configuration and another composite airplane that I am involved with that will be coming to US market in a few months so I honestly have not been training people to fly gyroplanes. Only if they have bought AR-1s new. Usually I have been sending students to Gyrocopter Flight Training Academy in Sebastian, FL. They have an AR-1 for training.
OK, I (and perhaps others) misunderstood your message, I thought you were saying the GWS was playing up when it's just a faulty switch or wiring connection. You an always turn the volume down if you're doing a lot of behind the curve flying.
About returning the GWS, I'd hoped you'd be using it to demonstrate to new customers what it can do, but if you're not using it, yes please send it back I have a French instructor who wants to try it.
