So I was talking briefly to Denis today at Gyro Technic about he and I working up a quote for a new VX-2, and I told him I had decided on the anodized red color with Denis' signature bright remachining of the parts to give it that glitzy look. He said yes he could do that and used some mundane term for it and I said he needed a catchy marketing term, so I suggested....."BLINGATIZE ME DENIS" maybe he will use it, I won't charge him.

I like that Wayne!

When I was growing up, here in SoCal there was quite an inventive and flamboyant entrepreneur named Earl Muntz. I'm sure some are familiar with his name. Earl was a long time friend of my Dad. "Madman Muntz" was a car salesman, automobile promoter, and developed and sold various consumer electronics items. Such as manufacturing the first TV that sold for less than $100. The 4-track Muntz Stereo-Pak and wide screen projection TV for the home to name a few.

To relate back to the subject of this thread, Muntz was a wordsmith of a sort. He coined the word "Muntzing" which was the art of simplifying otherwise complicated electronic devices. The name TV (TeeVee) was also his "invention." For print ads, TV is less expensive to pay for by the letter than "television." He was married and divorced a number of times. When any of his ex-wives remarried, he called their spouses "husband-in-laws." Muntz is also the creator of the industry standard of measuring the screen of a TV diagonally. Another sales gimmick.

So keep on wordsmithing!

That's a great new colour Gator.

It is the colour on his brakes on Blue, and they are jewel-like in both colour...and quality!

Hi Bobby, I finally put that thumb drive with the Dominator Assembly Manual on it, in the mail today and they said you should receive it Saturday. I apologize for taking so long.

I'm having flashbacks to Cap'n Crunch commercials.. "Crunchatize me, Cap'n!"
