Gyro over central Illinois yesterday

Heard a gyro fly over Petersburg Illinois yesterday early afternoon, instantly knew it was a gyro. Heading south, presumably back from Oshkosh? Looked great! was it any of you guys/gals?

I wish it had been me!
Gyro guys are always on the lookout for others. Last year I flew, unannounced, to Bloomsburg, PA, and within ten minutes, forum member Ron was at the airport gate in his pickup truck! Amazing.

oh yeah, it had that sound, and instantly I knew what it was. I couldn't tell color since it was silhouetted against the sky, but it was an open two place tandem.
