Gyro-Kopp-ter?

Here is a very good idea about the design. I attended almost every Bensen Days ever held since I was 9. Bob brought his gyros to maybe 6 or 7 events in a row. I don’t recall ever seeing one of his machines fly including his own. He bought blades from Dad but I don’t think his personal set ever flew other than the test flight by Pops.

Fortunately I found a Brock KB2 and brought it home this weekend. The original Mac was blown and it had no engine mounted, so the seller included a rebuilt Rotax 503. I found a fellow who is selling a 582 but he said he’d also trade for a good 503. So I’m trading him my 503 for his 582 next eeek.

I talked to ultracruiser41 this morning and he invited me to the Carolina Barnstormers where they’re going to help me with dropping the keel so the 582 and its prop fits the Brock frame, and they’ll get the 582 checked out to make sure it’s safe and hopefully get it mounted.
