Those of you interested my father Ernie Boyette of Dominator and Dragon Wing fame is having a final liquidation sale of remaining parts and pieces. Some of the items include a possible project for restoration of his original enclosed side by side two place powered by a O320 Lycoming. The machine needs a significant amount of work and may even be deemed too much work to restore. The engine alone is worth much more than he is willing to sell it for.

He has several sets of Dragon Wings that are almost completed. They just need finally finishing and test flying. He has both the original small cord blades and the large cord blades.

He has several brand new and some used seat tanks.

He also has one single bearing RFD head for sale.

Those who know it will understand what I’m talking about. Dad’s custom yellow RFD trailer is also for sale.

His property in Wimauma is pending sale and he doesn’t want to take any gyro stuff to his new homestead.

Please contact him ASAP via email [email protected] for specific items and prices. These prices are the lowest you will ever see them and these items will never be produced again.

Any complete flying Doms
Unfortunately not. He sold the last one a few months ago. He had a 618 powered SuperWhite single place and a 914 powered two place. I heard that the single place was wrecked already by someone who didn’t think he needed instruction. Haven’t heard anything about the two place.

Mike are you at the same airport as Jimmy Webb from Jimmys World , YouTube ? I’m asking as I saw the Plant City location after your name. I believe that is Jimmys area too. Bob

I don’t know him. I will have to check it out. We have three airports in my proximity. Plant City Airport is a small general aviation operation with one paved runway that is 9-27. Lakeland/Linder airport where Sun-Fun is held they are a small international airport. Then there is South Lakeland. It’s a grass strip with homebuilts/ultralights that operate there. It became famous a few years ago when a taildragger and parachutist collided on video. It is also where one of our more infamous gyro family ended up crashing fatally. Smokey Castner refused to put jam nuts on his Heim joints of his Mac powered Bensen. He lost the control system at about 200 feet and tried everything he could to regain control all the way to the ground. That was in the early 70’s and since they are a private airport no more gyros period.

Imagine that
