Jennifer just called and told me that George Charlet, past president of the PRA has passed away. Don't know any of the details yet. I ask all to keep his wife Betty and family in your prayers.

Only met George a couple of times, really liked him though. As I remember him, he was one of the "troops in the trenches" during the difficult growing times of the PRA. We owe a lot to his efforts and contributions.

Yes Tony he helped to bring the PRA a long way. The last time I remember seeing him was at Okeechobee Bensen Days 1990-1991.Don't remember for sure. He had a barnett two place and the exhaust stack fell off and caught a palmetto patch afire across the runway across from our line. Was excitring around there for a few minutes.

The PRA magazine Rotorcraft will have information on George in the March 15th issue.

Also, the PRA is sending flowers on behalf of all members.
