There are now four different keel mods for the RAF. Three are very similar with a engine drop and keel modification. The other is the AAI mod that makes the RAF look much like the Sparrow Hawk. One of the major differences between them is the engine drop with keel augmentation and the AAI mod is how the nose of the RAF drops with the AAI mod when the engine power is reduced while my mod the nose just eases down. When power is applied my gyro just goes forward. The nose is not pushed down like the stock RAF. Larry has explained how the heavily modified RAF almost flys it self. I agree that it is very easy to control with very little if any oscillation. This mod would make a great trainer for new gyro students.:first: I sure do like my mod on my RAF. The H/S isn't bad either. A must for any one with a RAF.
