White marks on gell-coat on right side, tank or cockpit is traveling or oscillating
against each other, allowing metal parts of plumbing to crash on gell-coat....

What can be the source of such banging?

Do we know for sure these marks are not from mechanic wrenching or during original assembly? Are you the owner? Is it a smooth machine?

So far I know, no removes after initial build...
Unfortunately, the test pilot is no longer with us,
to testify about performance.

There is no way the tanks and cabin are making contact. The crossover line does not appear to be stabilized and could be moving around. I would bet It is caused be mishandling of the cabin during installation. Stabilize the line and fly it. If there had been pylon whirl, blade shake or any other major issue, these scratches would be the very least of the damage.

Thanks to everyone for the tips so far .
Just trying to assess the level of required works necessary to
bring back in flying condition.
Sources of craft history are limited.
In that case some smart choices of
approach to safety are necessary.

You dont need sun light.
you only need enough light for thr camera to record.
If theres that much light, then theres enough light for a reflection.

I'm not a pilot but have been lucky enough to fly in Mi-24 Hind, Mi-2, Mi-17, Lynx HAS3, Gliders, GA
Hi Djani - has this machine got a previous registration - I may/may not be able to trace some history.

Cheers

Sorry Steve, not possible...

No known incident or crash record, overall looks like in decent condition,
main blades stored - no dents,
logs available with only short note of some belts slipping from
test pilot, who perished in non related aviation incident.
Logs entry are signed only by that pilot.

My personal opinion is that craft was subject of some level of hard landing,
or even drop - can be from trailer or during hang test by someone else,
which is not recorded in logs.

Thank you for such kind assistance offer...

Those are all just reflections of the ground/shop floor under the tanks. Nice shine on the paint job.

Edit: Looking closer, I think it's the reflection of the cyclic mixer.

have some one hang the ship & put a load in the pilots seat, Won't be the first time a cabin yielded under a load.
