The variety in that part of the world was immense. That took me back to charter days, flying with Safari Air out of Wilson. Kenya Uganda Tanzania Southern Sudan, Rwanda Barundi, and as far South as Lusaka in Zambia.
Flying over Lake Vic in a single could be a little twitchy, that's a big piece of water. Seeing the game was always great fun, the Flamingo on the Rift Valley lakes and then the Wildebeest migration was awesome. Once did a three day low level survey of Rudolf/Turkana for the White Fish Authority, the numbers of crocs was pretty amazing.
