Late last month I took a neighbor of mine and his two sons flying. Last week he was unfortunately killed in an accident in Mexico. His sons told me after they got home what a great time their father had flying with them and me. It was the first and last helicopter ride he would ever have. Here are some of the pictures of downtown Los Angeles,Santa Monica, going under the LAX takeoff path along the coast at 120 feet AGL, Pacific Palisades and the LA harbor from that day with him.

Scott,
you certainly have have more than your share of grief. I am sorry for your loss. I think about you often. I gave the pod I purchased from you to a friend and he built a PPC with the pod. I will post a picture of it soon . Maybe it will brighten your day to see what a nice addition it is to his aircraft.

Mark, I am starting to think a dark cloud follows me around.
That instrument pod saw a lot of amassing flights; too bad it didn't swim as well as it flew. Glad to see it is still being used.

I used to trasition the LAX VFR corridor back and fourth from NAS Miramar and NAS Point Mugu . That place was like a beehive . After that I started routing my flight's out over to Catalina Island and back . I figured that me and my aircraft had a better chance at it over the open ocean .
And I feel I have the same type of black cloud fallowing me as well . Hang in and keep the faith none of this is in our hands anyway .
So who does the helo belong to Scott ?
Do you know anyone at aspen Helo ?

Stunning photos thank you for sharing!

.

Gary, the helicopter is mine.
