Here is a pic of Jenn, me and Tony after they interviewed me for AWE cable TV show Boys Toys. It airs to 16 million people supposedly around the world. I'll keep you posted on air date.

Greg- Dad is still on cloud 9! Man....was that a treat for him. He still is talking how he was treated like a king....Abid putting his red jacket on him...etc....

Found out that gun range is open after 11 a.m this Monday. I misread their website. You guys will love it. I will bring my Hi-Standard .22 my Sig Sauer 226 and my concealed carry which is on me...my Sig 938.

They require first time shooters to watch a 10 minute safety video, then go to the range with an instructor for a few minutes. Then we can have at it busting bullets down range.

You can keep your targets of course.

This place is state of the art.

Stan

Greg has always been a hero of mine. It is a gift having him stop by . This Monday we will have more fun!

Thanks guys. The Apollo gyro is performing great and very reliably and not to brag but its clearly fast perfect for such trips.

My second award is from Buffalo Wild Wings Challenge. Eating 12 of their hottest wings in less than 6 minutes without any drink or napkins. Seemed like a piece of Cake last night but I am paying for it this morning. Ouch.

I hope I'm not out of line in asking, but I'm curious how it compares with a ELA, Magni and MTO with regards to speed and fuel burn.

It seems like they would be very similar...it that true? It all boils down to their respective rotors I'm sure.

The reason I ask is the AG seems to exhibit exceptional L/D from what I've read about it.

NOTE: They are all great aircraft IMO.

Chuck:
It's impossible for me to know someone's fuel burn. I didn't see any Magni fly here. I saw MTO with 112 HP from Ronnie Smith on 912ULS, I saw Calidus fly, I saw another Calidus at Chris Lord's booth belonging to a customer of mine whom I built a Searey SLSA for who is now selling the Calidus, I saw Xenon fly.
Best if someone interested just sees a mile long run by themselves for speed.

To me it's just comparing rotors (assuming same engine). The weight may or may not be much of a factor between the four.

I have not heard numbers for the Aussie Titanium MTO, but have seen clips of it flying.

For me the big factor is not performance but the back seat...and how windy they are or aren't. I've heard the AG is a little less windy due to seat height?

The front seats are fabulous on these tandem platforms...but the back seat...less so.

The Calidus tandem back seat really suprised me how roomy it was. It did not appear it would be so nice and roomy from just looking at it.
