Flying from Tampa to Oshkosh in Apollo AG1

Stan: when we are there of course we will be happy to get your dad a ride. I know how it is. Hard to see your extremely capable parents in bad health or slipping away. Fog and IFR here now. Have to fly over Blue Ridge mountains today do hoping to have good clear weather. Have to go above 7000 feet MSL.

Which trike did you deliver ? He is just 4miles or so from Twin Lakes airport home of the
Other Barstormer hangar . We may see him around the area . Enjoy your trip and we will
See you at Oshkosh !

Hi Abid, I'm seeing more and more people doing long xcountries in their gyros. That's great! How's your experience in the AG-1 so far? Keep posting, I love to read travel stories.

-- Chris.

We have been flying around 80 to 90 mph most of the time.

Just realized that Kolb ultralight aircraft are manufactured here at London, KY airport where we have parked and giving cute girls ride after ride. Trying to get Greg drunk so he will sing on this Karaoke thing here.

Here is a few more in random order

Greg called and will be landing around 1pm cdt at my hometown of Paxton. I told him to come hungry.

My 93 year old dad has been notified of a flight for him in the Apollo. I plan to fly alongside them and take some GoPro video and still shots as well. Pictures tonight, and the video later tonight.

Trike flights are unlike anything else that flies...

"They are like a flying motorcycle" as many people whom I've given rides to have proclaimed.

My 93 year old dad had the time of his life today thanks to Greg Spicola. Thank you so much Greg. You are my hero. Dad said several times he was being treated like a king. Thank you Abid for your generosity with your gyro.

The 4 gay....I mean "happy" guys in my truck were headed for a walleye dinner on me......the least I could do to prepay for dads flight.

The smiles all tell the story. A good thing happened to all that witnessed this. Dad will be chattering about this for the rest of his life.

Dad had the controls as I flew by and Gregs hands were out of the cockpit.

It looks like they will be back after Oshkosh...and then we may have more time for the gun range. They were pressing to get to Wisconsin and to Oshkosh.

Thank you again Greg and Abid.

Stan
