Anyone know the status of Farmer Jim's huge gyro he had on display at Mentone. As I recall, it had a Subaru engine with some issues. I remember talking to him in some detail about the machine. I thought it would do much better with a Lycoming in it. Anyway, I was wondering if he was flying it now?

Jim had the whole thing redone. It still needs just a little more work. But right now is farming time so it will have to wait.

That's what I have seen.
