I have had a problem develop in my right eye. There seems to be something going on inside my cornea....a cloudy spot that lhas caused my vision to go to 20/40 in that eye in two weeks. This is not a cadillac...I mean cataract in my eye...those are in your eye lense. I just noticed a little bit of blurry vision at Mentone....and it has gotten steadily worse. This is causing an uneven curvature in m cornea causing astigmatism.
I have an early morning appointment with my eye surgeon who is going to peel back my cornea like an onion skin...wit a diamond keratone blade....and either surgically scrape out the offending material....or use a laser to ablate the abnomality out of my eye.
I had lasik eye surgery 6 years ago....and I had a little problem with my right eye...which was fixed....but this is some scar tissue from that operation.
I am confident in his skills....but obviously a little nervous about this. I kind of would like to have both eyes to fly. I have full faith in this surgeon and I will be back to 20/20 in BOTH eyes. :yo:
What complicates this is that my right eye is dominant...and I have had significant problems sighting my work in the stairshop.
